Mark Mittlehauser, PGA
Director of Golf Operations
Mark Mittlehauser, PGA has been at Pala Mesa Resort since 1999 when he began working as our outside service attendant. He worked his way up into the golf shop as the 2nd and then 1st Assistant Golf Professional. In 2006 Mark earned his PGA membership and became the Head Golf Professional at the resort.
He ventured out and gained more experience including working at the private Country Club of Rancho Bernardo and teaching as a Head Golf Professional at City Golf Club and Academy.
In 2012, Mark came back home to Pala Mesa Resort as the Golf Sales Manager where he rounded out his golf experience, selling tournaments and groups. In 2019 he was promoted to his current position at the resort, Director of Golf Operations, overseeing all of our golf sales and operations.

Travis Inchcliff, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Travis has been at Pala Mesa Resort since 1999 when he began working in outside services. Within a year he was promoted and moved into the Pro Shop as our Assistant Golf Professional. Travis was awarded Apprentice Player of The Year by The SoCal PGA in 2001. Then In 2009 his hard work and dedication earned him another career advancement to Head Golf Professional, his current Resort position.
Working closely with the Director of Golf, Travis currently helps oversee our golf operations.

Director of Resort Facilities
Al has been working at Pala Mesa Resort for over 30 years. He started off part-time when he was still in high school, then continued his studies in Sports Turf while working at the resort. In 2009 he was promoted to the Director of Resort Facilities.
Al currently oversees all areas of maintenance at the resort including: The 18-hole championship golf course, property-wide landscaping, guest rooms, Aquaterra Restaurant, and all of our indoor/outdoor wedding and banquet venues.
