Briana and Luciana were our wedding coordinators. They did a phenomenal job taking care of us!
We shopped many venues while putting our wedding together and these two ladies were the only ones who could successfully answer all of our questions. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to get married outdoors with beautiful scenery and well maintained gardens.
The staff, food and planning were exemplary. They listened to our requests and did a great job of implementing them. We and our guests were all extremely pleased with the wedding and reception.

My fiancé and I have been searching high and low for a venue that was beautiful and would allow us to have the wedding we dreamed of but also wouldn’t break the bank and boy did did we find it here at Pala Mesa! I can not express enough how happy we are with this venue! Naturally beautiful setting with it’s waterfalls and flowers the tent where the reception is held is gracefully draped and has beautiful lanterns hung that makes the whole place look gorgeous. The best part is the wedding coordinator Luciana, she is on top of it! Totally worked with our budget took extra time and care with us to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it just an absolutely fantastic experience. Thank you Pala Mesa Resort!

I just wanted to take the time to “Thank You” so much for making our Rehearsal Brunch on Friday, Sept. 13 so memorable. You and Luciana went above and beyond. The food was very good, as everyone commented on how wonderful it was. It was a beautiful atmosphere. I want to thank you for allowing us to have it at the restaurant outside, without an additional charge. I, as the mother of the groom, was very happy. Lol I just received an email requesting me to complete a survey of our stay at Pala Mesa. I am definitely letting them know what fantastic customer service you both have. There is also a wonderful girl at the front desk who was also went above and beyond. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name. She worked Saturday and Sunday morning. Maybe you know her name. 5 star review is for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception. I was a recent bride here 2013. The service was AMAZING. There is no exaggeration of how I was taken care of from day one to the day of my wedding. Lucianna did wonderfully painting my wedding out for me and allowed me to gauge my budget in our first sit down meeting. The resort … is breath-taking. This is the type of setting you would love for an outdoor, rustic, woods look. Not to say much as you drive onto a golf course, as soon as you see the ceremony area tucked in the corner, your heart will melt. The landscaping and small detail to waterfalls and greenery looks beautiful in photos- the stone gazebo frames well for ceremony photos and gives such a grand/natural feeling. As you enter their reception area, their tent is wonderful. It comes with over sized lanterns that give such a simple touch to the tent. The chairs, the back setting to the tables (stone waterfall) the view of the city peeking through the trees, the wood rustic floors, and the terrace where the cocktail hour is is a perfect setting for a summer’s night wedding. There isn’t much to be added to make this place beautiful, its landscape gives so much.
I rave about this place because I know that weddings can be overwhelming, especially with a small budget. This location allows you to have a beautiful wedding and allows you to be outdoors, but it is done so elegantly. Briana was my wedding coordinator. She was in tune with all my details, I emailed her so often with changes that came up unexpected. She handled it with such calmness. She allowed me to feel in control of my wedding.
The venue offered little tea candles, white linens, the chairs that I loved, amber lighting, some 2 wine bottles for the tables, offered a candle center piece if I didn’t want to use my own, offered mirrors for the centerpieces, had a beautiful bridal room that had enough mirrors for my 8 girls and gave us a night for our honeymoon (all these things could have costed me a couple hundred more at other venues). The room wasn’t overly spectacular, but it was enough to rest my tired feet from such an amazing wedding.
They were amazing- truly the team does everything so that your day goes wonderful. My wedding was everything I could have dreamed of. If you are a military vet or currently serving, they offer you a wonderful deal to help your pocketbook. Places like these, that honor the men and women who serve, are just a blessing.

We hosted our daughter’s wedding at this location after evaluating several other locations in the general area. Our expectations were not only met, but were far exceeded. The staff was not only professional, but extremely friendly and helpful beyond our wildest dreams. This extended from the front desk to the banquet, restaurant and wedding staff. The facility was beautifully maintained and the wedding location superb. The ceremony location was beautiful with the waterfall and the spring flowers blooming. We had our reception at the large white tent on the hill near the ceremony location which was very convenient for our guests.
The food at the Aquaterra Restaurant, the Rehearsal Dinner buffet and the wedding was always presented in a beautiful manner, served hot and tasted great.
All of our guests commented how enjoyable and convenient everything was for all of the wedding festivities to be at the same location. We had several guests also play golf on the Thursday or Friday before the wedding on Saturday with all guests commenting how beautiful the course and setting was.
We and our guests had a wonderful destination experience.

Our son’s wedding was held at the Palla Mesa Resort. Despite earlier reviews that panned the age of the rooms and questioned the value of the accomodations, we had a fabulous experience thanks to the wonderful staff and the attention to detail provided by the organizers. Every event from the rehearsal to the rehearsal dinner to the wedding ceremony and the reception was handled with flawless professionalism. The food was good. The rooms were clean and accomodating. The grounds were well maintained and gorgeous. Kudos and thanks to Brianna and Luciana for all of their hard work and patience. Golf, banquets, meetings or weddings… this is a great place.

I just spent 4 days and 3 nights at Pala Mesa resort and, as mother of the groom, I experienced all it had to offer, from rehearsal dinner in the Sun room to golf to breakfast in Aqua Resort to the rooms — service at EVERY level. Since I threw a wedding at Silverado Resort in Napa last Fall for my daughter, I think I have a great deal to compare it to, so here’s what I experienced:
* Service: Everyone was wonderful, from the servers at the rehearsal dinner to the breakfast brunch to the room maids to the bar service at the wedding — the general manager even came out to the wedding and introduced himself. And thank you to the grounds man who gave me a ride on his golf cart and went out of his way when I was busy because I needed to deliver flowers and connect with family!
* Rooms: Our room was upgraded courtesy of the hotel with no extra charge. Yes, these rooms were built in the 70s or 60s, but they had a bit of a mountain feeling that I really liked and were very clean with comfortable beds.
* Wedding Coordinators: Absolutely fantastic — from start to finish (over a 6 month period). Extremely attentive, dedicated, and proactive. When I did not understand charges, they patiently explained everything to my satisfaction. Compared to the Silverado coordinators, they were incredible. The attention to detail was phenomenal.
* Wedding venue and service: So beautiful and wonderful it’s difficult to put into words. Such a lovely place to have a wedding. And I must say — the pricing was SO REASONABLE compared to Napa! You get a great deal for the money.
* Extra curricular: On the days before the wedding, we had so much fun visiting Temecula, San Diego, wine tasting, and golfing. It’s a great venue. I don’t understand people on this site who say there’s nothing to do. Have you ever heard of just relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature? There’s hiking, golfing, a lake, wine tasting, and cycling.
We were so incredibly blessed to enjoy this amazing weekend at Pala Mesa.

I can’t say enough good things about Pala Mesa Resort. I found them at the San Diego Bridal Bazaar in January 2012; we toured the place and booked a few days later! We were absolutely sold because of the value of what we were getting compared to the cost. My now-husband and I toured at least a dozen other places–we knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony and reception with the availability to offer our guests hotel rooms for the night. Pala Mesa offered it all. BEAUTIFUL outdoor ceremony pavilion with an incredible waterfall in the background (great for pictures!), outdoor reception tent with classy large Chinese lanters hanging from the ceiling (optional upgrade to chandeliers) and another waterfall feature on one side of the tent, plated/served dinner (salad, chicken/beef entree, rolls), $2500 open bar WITH a specialty drink (requested by me), wine with dinner and champagne/sparkling cider for toasts, excellent wait staff, detail-oriented and punctual wedding coordinators…all of this cost about $17K. This may seem like a lot to some people and it IS a lot of money, but I thought it was a great deal for the quality of everything we got. It was definitely not tacky in any way and my mom and I were being SUPER picky in the venue searching process. Pala Mesa Resort is about an hour away from the heart of San Diego (where most of my guests were coming from), so it felt like a mini destination wedding. 26 hotel rooms were booked by my guests for the night of the wedding, and Pala Mesa was more than accommodating for all of them–some requested to be close to each other, my grandma requested to be close to the reception tent so she didn’t have to walk that far at the end of the night, families with kids requested to be close to the reception tent to put the kids down for a nap, etc. Anything you ask, they will try their best to accommodate you. And PS. the front desk staff is SO nice!! Briana (Pala Mesa’s wedding coordinator) was so helpful in everything. During the last two months before the wedding, I was emailing her at least once or twice a week with questions, logistics info, etc. and she always got back to me promptly and answered my questions fully. During the wedding rehearsal, Briana walked us through everything with ease like she’d done it thousands of times before even though she looks so young! On the actual wedding day, she popped into my getting ready room and to the head table every once in a while to see if I needed any thing or if there was anything she could do to help. I even gave her a list of things I needed her to do to help set up the reception area and she complied with a big smile! If you are looking for a beautiful location that is elegantly outdoorsy but not a barn (like all of the weddings you see on Pinterest these days), if you seek wedding coordinators that know what they’re talking about and will accommodate any request, if you’re looking for delicious food and a fast-serving wait staff, if you’d like a place where you can celebrate the rehearsal with dinner the night before or congregate with guests the morning after for brunch, if you want to have a truly memorable event that you, your friends, and family will look back on with a smile for the rest of your married life…Pala Mesa Resort is the place! I HIGHLY recommend!

Pala Mesa Resort is absolutely beautiful venue with a staff that is ready to meet your needs. Before booking Pala Mesa, I check out other venues in the area and was not impressed with their interactions with potential clients. At Pala Mesa, I had many people willing to show me the grounds and answer any questions that I had. I quickly booked my wedding date. During the planning process, they were readily available to answer all of my questions and requests. The day of the wedding the food was fantastic. It tasted the same as it had the day of the tasting. The staff was very attentive and flexible. (We had to make many last minute changes due to the heat, 102 degrees!) Overall, it was a very positive experience!

I want to extend my most sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU for all that you did to make our wedding so so so special. Everyone at Pala Mesa has incredible customer service and we felt absolutely pampered that weekend! All the food at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself was delicious, the decor was stunning, the grounds were immaculate, the staff was attentive–I can’t think of one thing that that didn’t go smoothly. Both of you were incredible during the whole planning process and I can’t thank you enough for all the ways you made wedding planning easier on me. I will definitely recommend Pala Mesa Resort to all my friends not only as a wedding venue, but also just to stay there for a getaway! Every extra touch that you guys put in, including the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne when we got back to our honeymoon suite!, and every way you accommodated us was appreciated and will not be forgotten.
